Lauren is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional. She holds a Master of Arts in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University and a Master of Education in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University. Lauren has training in, but not limited to, Individual and Relationship Trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Substance Use Disorder (SUD), Anxiety Disorders, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Mindfulness, Grief Counseling, and Anger Management. Lauren provides in-person and Telehealth psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults in individual sessions, couple sessions, family sessions, and group therapy. She tailors her therapeutic treatment modalities to the needs of each client, ensuring a person-centered approach. She has experience working with those who suffer from varied clinical diagnoses and co-occurring disorders. Lauren has worked as a therapist in diverse settings such as partial hospitalization, inpatient substance abuse rehabilitation, homeless shelter population, Individual Residential Alternative (IRA) housing, and private practice.
