We work with you to tailor the counseling process and make it an enjoyable and effective experience. Some of our modalities include; CBT, Family Systems, Relational, Client Centered, Integrative, Solution Focused, Structural, Emotionally Focused and Psychodynamic.
How it Works
First Contact
The first contact is typically by phone or email. During this time, it can be assessed what your needs are and what you are looking for. If it's a type of service we can provide, we will move on to the next step and schedule an appointment. If not, we will be happy to assist you in finding another provider that may be a better fit for your particular needs.
Initial Session(s)
The first session or two will be dedicated to starting to build a rapport and getting to know you. We like to get a sense of who you are and your family. We will then discuss and evaluate your presenting concerns and specific needs.
Subsequent Sessions
A treatment plan will be developed which will include goals we create together with measurable and attainable objectives. We will work collaboratively with you and your family to meet your individual needs. We will provide a comfortable pace and will modify any type of therapeutic model as needed or desired as the therapeutic process continues.
Frequency of subsequent Sessions
Frequency of sessions are determined by you, but typically they are based on a weekly or biweekly continuum allowing for flexibility in scheduling.
